Trust and safeguards FAQ

These answers describe specific product capabilities, not a blanket compliance, certification, or payment-execution guarantee.

Is Grant AI required, and who makes the final decisions?

Grant AI is optional and off by default. Available assistance includes eligibility screening, strengths-and-gaps summaries, rubric assistance with quoted reasoning, and applicant chat about program content. AI outputs are logged, staff can override eligibility results, and people retain final decision-making responsibility.

How can an organization control staff access?

EvolveGMS supports custom roles and detailed permissions so access can be configured around staff responsibilities. Audit history provides a record of activity, and each tenant's data is separated from other tenants.

What happens before a grant disbursement is released?

A scheduled disbursement can be held until required reporting is accepted, and disbursements are capped at the approved award amount. When a disbursement is released, the workflow can create an accounts-payable bill and sync it with QuickBooks Online. These steps describe reporting controls and finance records; they are not a claim that EvolveGMS executes the bank payment.

Does Stripe handle grant disbursements?

Stripe handles card-payment processing. That is separate from a grant's scheduled disbursements, accounts-payable bills, or QuickBooks Online sync, and does not mean grant funds are automatically transferred to recipients.

What does GDPR consent tracking mean?

EvolveGMS includes GDPR consent tracking. This describes a consent-tracking capability only; it is not a blanket claim that every organization's use of the product satisfies all GDPR obligations or that the product holds a particular certification.
